Why not spray oil or something water resistant liquids on the sub after they activate the Yes I am the crazy skull lady shirt? Just an observers opinion. Would the army develope submarines isn’t that the perve of the navy? In water, almost 800 times as dense as air, it’s around 4800 feet/sec. That would be some kind of supercavitation feat! It would still need to touch the water in order to not fall through the gas bubble it’s creating. All that displaced water pressure it creates would be detectable as well. Sketchy.

And I suppose they are privileged to the actual classified operating depth and max speed of Yes I am the crazy skull lady shirt. I don’t think it would work for the water but that same method can be used in space from moving faster than the speed of light. The bubble idea has been used for years on missiles from subs. Just like Russia.
What about hydrophobic coatings that create or capture many small bubbles? It may not be hypersonic but it currently would be faster. Also, has anyone besides me been on a sub? They are not carrying a ton of people on them or a bunch of equipment. Even the state class subs don’t allow enough room for a lot of room for people. I would just use conventional jets in the air to get stuff there fast.
