Last I knew my ex is still out there, piling up debt, married with two more kids. She probably doesn’t know we exist. If so, he lied about what happened. I still don’t know what he did with the tens of thousands of dollars he got out of me. My roommate, Marion, told me that I had to move out after I’d just moved in with her a little over a month before. But it was more than that. It was like she’d done a complete 180, and had abruptly become super-paranoid about me, and thought that I was going to get her kicked out of her apartment. And I had done NOTHING to give her any trouble, or any reason to distrust me.
