We ended up with the full size and queen size bed pushed together…and then-husband and I moved out of the room and they shared a bed for Sgt. Oddball don’t hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning, then shared a room with bunk beds for another 3. Never had any sleep problems, and they’re the most secure, connected young adults I’ve ever met. Never. Both my kids slept in their own rooms from the day we brought them home. Never had any sleep issues, and they are now 12 and 16, perfectly healthy and independent. My baby still comes to sleep in our room when he’s had a bad dream of doesn’t feel good. He’s 8. My other baby would if she fit but needs a king-size bed for that as she’s 14.

Enjoy it. One day they won’t be there Sgt. Oddball don’t hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning shirt. When we were a cave-dwelling species I imagine the babies slept with the mother for a very long time. You wouldn’t put your baby somewhere else in the cave to cry and attract predators. This little one is about to be 10 months and I have no idea when he’ll be ready to move out of the bed. I’m ready for him to stop using me as a pacifier in the middle of the night. I think once he starts sleeping through the night we can transition to his own bed. Never. Ours went straight to their rooms as soon as we came home from the hospital.
