I got pregnant again and Pit Bull I love Mom shirt. I wasn’t in a good place to bring another child into the world. I found myself at planned parenthood. I was ready to abort the thing growing inside me. I got all the way through the visit. Only one thing left before I could make the appointment. The ultrasound. The woman doing the US kept referring to the baby as she and her. The baby wouldn’t let her measure her head. So, what did this woman do!? SHOWS ME THE ULTRASOUND!! Showed me that the baby kept her arms over her head not letting the tech measure her head. But as soon as I looked at the screen the baby moved her arms and basically looked me in the face like “now what bitch!?” I got up, grabbed my things, and walked out.

I couldn’t do it. There was a real human being in my Pit Bull I love Mom shirt. I quit EVERYTHING! All drugs and alcohol that very day. April 16th, 1998. My daughter was born Aug 1st. We have been sober for nearly 21years. She gave me a reason to live, the courage to get clean, and the drive to be a better mother. I will never forget that day.
