My rule with the kids when they were little and kind of like McDonald Covid 19 2020 I can’t stay at home shirt, I would make a variety of things, and if they didn’t want to eat something they only had to eat a bite for every year they were old. I worked well when they were young but I also stated that when they were young. Making a 2yo eat 2 bites wasn’t all that hard. 4yo- 4 bites. Now they’re great eaters. I just flat out had a rule, try it, 2 bites chewed and swallowed, no dramatics and if you say you don’t like it you don’t have to try it again. My oldest is 28 now and has the same rule for his daughter because he found lots of things he likes but never would have tried.
