My grandmother had one of these. I thought it was super awesome, it was kind of like an I’m either drinking Stella Artois shirt motor with two extra cylinders! The styling was pretty much a direct ripoff from a VW type III Karmann Ghia, and they definitely had some issues. I had a Corvair and I would drive it back just to make believe that the engine was in the front.

Best I’m either drinking Stella Artois shirt
I remember one in front of me that dropped the engine on the ground starting out from an I’m either drinking Stella Artois shirt. Never rode in one. Had one, as any teenage boy would do drove the hell out it! Above 40mph it steered like a boat which was pretty scary! The dash transmission shifter was dope! Good traction on snow too. I had the keys in my hand and a professor helped me disconnect the battery and it still took forever for the engine to stop.
Now all cars are pretty generic. Nothing sleek and sexy like in the ’60s and ’70s. Some call it progression. I call it, lack of creative abilities and ingenuity! The only new recognizable car on the road any more is the Volkswagen Beetle. Very disappointing to a real muscle car lover! I learned to drive in a 3 speed on the floor red Corvair in the early ’60s. Fond memories of that little car.
