My son Zachary who has Autism, usually ate his lunch alone also. God Bless this young man for I’m an autism mom my level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity shirt and may it serve as a wonderful example of compassion & friendship to other students to follow. Parents who see someone care about spending time with their lonely child do see them as a hero. Not because they are a charity case. We love them so much our child so much that it hurts us for them to be lonely. Some need help to make friends and some don’t. I’m glad you have such a great friend!

Best I’m an autism mom my level of sarcasm depends on your shirt
I am Autistic, not a stupid child you need to! That’s pretty I’m an autism mom my level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity shirt. Maybe we don’t want friends who see the time spent with lonely people as a service or something. If you do that, you are a “peer mentor” and not a “friend” and that is something I do not and will not allow to happen to me. That was me as a kid. Sitting alone at break time on the playground, feeling miserable and lonely. Now my son has to go through it. And my daughter. Different is like a disease for kids. A lot more can go into teaching kids about people being different.
I work with I’m an autism mom my level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity shirt. However, there is another student who carefully watches him, and as soon as my student has finished eating and packed up will come over to talk with him the rest of the shift. I almost cried! Worry about my boys everyday and this makes me remember there are so many kind people out there. Some people never understand a out being alone, at lunch time in school by yourself. This photo tells me that the faculty are failing this child and his classmates. No one should be allowed to be isolated like this ever!
