Then there are social situations that I’m an Autism Mom just like a normal Mom except much stronger shirt. Some stranger who knows nothing tries to help and makes things worse. My kids and I do not like being touched by strangers. Heaven forbid they offer stickers at the doctor’s office. My kids used to scream. The pressure exerted by people who do not realize that my kids are autistic can be severe. Try taking sensitive children to Walmart. Our kids may not be as functional as some, but my kids know how to clean, do their own laundry, and a bit of cooking. We don’t expect people to understand, as we have learned that they don’t. We have sympathy for other mothers because we know how hard it is. We also don’t appreciate people who feel free to give advice when they don’t know what the hell they are talking about. You would not believe how many feel the need to comment. We do tend to be protective and defensive. Comment one: Yeah, your daughter is going to a specialist school because the mainstream school isn’t suitable for her. It’s not your daughter’s problem – it’s that the mainstream school lacks the knowledge and resources to assist your daughter and provide for her specific needs.

Best I’m an Autism Mom just like a normal Mom except much stronger shirt
When I first started our autism journey, all I knew was that I’m an Autism Mom just like a normal Mom except much stronger shirt. Everyone I knew kept telling me that my two boys would grow out of it, that I was overreacting to their speech and developmental delays. I tell you this to let you know that feeling like something isn’t right is a legitimate thing. However, I don’t think it’s a good idea to approach your mom with, “She definitely has autism.” What this looks like to me is a loving brother who is concerned about his little sister and is still young himself. I commend you for looking into the possible causes of your observed symptoms. As others have noted, autism is a very complex disorder that can only be diagnosed by qualified professionals, but I don’t think that was the point of your question at all.
