It’s her choice to decide she wants to live her life (let’s be honest we all know she may have Ltd time left) but if she prefers to live her life with her family it’s her choice and her and the families responsibility for her care,can assure you if my mom was still alive and still in her care home she would have been fetched out long before now police or no police, I would love to know what crime has been committed? This is unbelievable, what is happening in our world, Its a mess. The poor woman is entitled to being with her family she’s 97 she could go at any time she should be allowed to do it surrounded by family and not alone in a care home.

I want a Congratulations President Biden 2020 shirt. What many care homes have mastered is to document what the CQC wants to see. I work mainly night shifts and many times I find tea time food still on the table untouched because the resident can’t feed themselves, beakers of drinks full on the tables by the bedside but if you check the records it’s written ate all, the documentation is perfect yet the care, not so much. I am a mama of 3 kids very close in age. You need to make time and take time for yourself. I don’t care if it is sitting in a McDonald’s parking lot in your pajamas having a frappe mocha and listening to the radio. You have to do it or you will go insane. I understand the not having friends…I repel people for some reason. But going out alone is better than not doing anything. You got this! I know it’s hard but just hang in there!
